Undermined and Overwhelmed
I have been an art educator in the state of New Hampshire for twenty-four years. Recently my frustration with the systemic malfunctioning of public education has come to its boiling point. I came to a realization that I have a unique voice through art that can shine light on what educators are enduring. I have been overflowing with ideation and have begun creating this body of work over the last few months. This series in progress is therapeutic for me, but ideally a way for me to potentially open eyes and avenues to propel change. Children deserve better.
